When I saw the film of Daniel Leeb "Messenger", I was completely hooked by a new way of cycling. After many years I met Alfred Bobe Jr., star of the film and one of the most popular and fastest bike messenger in NYC, in Milan.
He was in town to run the Red Hook Criterium, but what most interested me was ride together, eat a good pizza and sneak into the Vigorelli velodrome, mecca of world cycling.
